What is it?

So I recently noticed a lot of little things on the sandbed of my 50g that look like cat poops or something. Any ideas what they are or where they come from?

It's thicker then anything I've seen my fish poop. And it may be that it is but it didn't look like it

Could it possibly be algae?

I have reached my limits of pictures I'm allowed to post. Also, it doesn't look like any algae I have seen in FW or SW

What kind of fish do you have? My sharpnose puffer has massive poo!
