Can you only get when u buy a tank that comes with it?? That is almost my exact tank just mine didn't come with that inner piece.

Looks to be a weir

It basically covers pipework leading to the sump in the cabinet below and allows water to drain steadily down without risking pulling fish in, too. You can't usually buy them seperately, but you can build your own if you're planning to drill the tank.

You don't need one, unless you have a sump, in which case they're very helpful!

I am looking into drilling holes. Not 100% sure im going to or not yet. What would I need if I don't have a sump?? Thanks for responding.
