What to add to tank

My tank has finished cycling and a diatom bloom has started. Would it be to much of a bioload to add a cardinal, Ricordia, a couple snails, a cleaner shrimp and hermit crab all at once? Also can I put a cardinal in a 26 gallon tank?

What kind of cardinal are you looking at?
A diatom bloom isn't that big of a deal. It is consuming silicates in the sandbed before dying off.

A Benggai cardinal

It should work. You'd want to get yourself some captive bred ones as they will be more likely to be successful. Some of the wild caught ones have struggled with eating when moved.

I think 99% of banggai cardinals in the hobby are now captive bred. But yeah should be fine.
