I am thinking of starting a SW aquarium and was wondering what I would need to do so. Are there any good books I should get. I will research heavily before starting in. Any advice/suggestions? I will most likely start with a 20-29 gallon tank.

We have a listing of quite a few good books on saltwater below. I do recommend for all beginners the book The Conscientious Marine Aquarist, by Robert M. Fenner. Get the largest tank you can to start with. Belive it or not even a 29 gal tank is consitered small for saltwater.

If you could give us more of an idea as to what you want to keep in your tank and what your goals are then we can structure our advice around those needs.

I like Saltwater Aquariums for Dummies, too. Good easy advice for beginners - then continue to on with your research.[/quote]
