Setting up a 30 gallon, with live rock and live sand. When should I add a clean up crew?

After the cycle has finished. My personal belief is to slowly add as needed. There are many sites that sell kits of 50 snails and 50 hermits and shrimp and everthying all at once. You ussaully dont need that many all at once and will end up losing some or having to feed your clean up crew.

I agree! Right after your cycle is over go ahead and add your clean up crew. this will give them a head start on all the algae that is to come in the next couple of months. HTH
