hi im new at sw and wondering if i should drill bottom of the tank or top-back for my overflow.I dont really like the looks of the internal ones. im thinking about a 125 gal fowlr also considering tank that is 30H could this be a problem later if i change to reef? thanks notler.

no problem, 30'' sounds good, You can drill either top or bottom, however, if you drill bottom, you must make sure you have a tempered glass bottom, or else it may crack from pressure. (unless you got acrylic of course =D)

Personally i would drill from top. Ive seen people drill from bottom and keep the return/exit at about half way up so they can drain easily.
