Will this work??

Today I was at a local store and found these two filters for a real good deal of 6$ each!!! Well I think it's a good deal are these only fresh water use only ease and thanks in advanced

You can use them in saltwater as well. Theres no special filter for either.

I'm used to having the bottem sump so I completely lost when it comes to anything else I think I'm going to get a small tank now!!!!' lol

So how does the filter changing and all that work?

You would do the same as you do in fw. Just rinse the cartridges in tank water and use them til they fall apart. You may even be able to put in extra filter floss if space permits.

When I bought my 55g sw setup it came with the walmart filter and I used it for several months til I had a canister filter become available.
