I have a crawlspace ranch home and I am looking to increase my 55 gallon freshwater to a 110 gallon tall (48 x 18 x 29) with an overflow to a 30 gallon sump, Should I worry about support underneath

I already have a 65 gallon reef with 20 gallon overflow and it causes no problems

My fiance built a 110 tall into a wall in our home and even though it might not have been needed, he did reinforce the floor in the crawlspace just underneath of the tank - just to be safe.

Will that 110 be in addition to the 65 there? What is underneath the area where the tank will sit? You're talking over half a ton of weight there for the 110 gallon and sump. Unless it's on concrete, I would be wary.

I'd reinforce the floor. It's better to be safe than sorry and it doesn't take much work to do.
