20 gallon stocking

Im getting a 20 gallon tank and thinking of getting
1 female blue ram
1 male blue ram
3 female platys
2 male platys
1 rainbow shark
does that sound ok and do u have any suggestions.
will the rams be aggressive if they are breeding and kill or attack the platys?

You should be fine Exocet get rid of the rainbow shark they need a 4 foot tank IMO. But I would add 1 more female platy to the best ratio is 1m:2f no the rams should be just fine with your platys.

what will the rainbow shark do? what about clown loaches or do u have any other ideas for fish.

Rainbow sharks will harass and chase around small fish a lot. It grows to 6 inches and needs a big tank. Clown loaches are a definite no. They get 10 inches and need at least a 125 gallon tank. In a 20 gallon with 5 or 6 platies and 2 rams your tank is pretty much fully stocked.

2 rams 1 male 1 female
2 male platys
3-4 female platys
3 Tetras or something give me suggestion of what to get.
does that sound good?

I would ditch the platys and get more tetras and cories

Don't add anything else if you want platies and rams. If you want tetras don't get platies.

Choose either 6 platies and the rams or tetras and rams. I definitely recommend tetras.

Is this a brand new tank? Maybe start with the platys than look into rams a little further down the road, also rummynose tetras and rams look great together but rn's can be tricky too...
