20 gallon stocking advice

New to the forum first tank. Doing a freshwater community have done a fish less cycle got the tank 6 weeks ago
Water parameters are
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 10 ppm
Ph 6.8
Temperature around 77-79 F

Right now I have 3 Cardinal tetras and I want to have a stock list like this

6 Cardinal tetras
2-4 Male guppies
A centerpiece fish to go with those kind of fish

Any advice helps

Welcome to AA!
What about a dwarf gourami or a ram? If you didn't get guppies a single Betta would be an option.

Ive seen both fish and both I really like but I'd probably say I like rams a little better but they do better in pairs right? Also aren't rams a little more difficult to take care of. I didn't mention it's a tall tank

Could a do a single ram with the stock list

1 GBR
6 Cardinal tetras
2-4 Male Guppies

Do two male rams!

And a bristlenose pleco

Goodness no. Two males rams in a 20g tall will not end well. One would be ok without any other bottom dwellers.
The stock list looks fine.

The shrimp may become food but you could try

Well if I did get shrimp they would be Ghost shrimp idk if that makes a difference or not

I've read that GBR aren't as hardy as Bolivian rams since its a new tank want would you guys suggest

If it's completely cycled and stuff you could get either one I personally like bolivians and only get 1

Alright the Bolivians get bigger right? Will they still be fine with the Tetras and guppies

I don't know why but the more I think about it the less I want a ram so could I go any another gourami then dwarfs

You could swap a ram for a dwarf or honey gourami I would personally go honey a lot hardier and more docile
