I want neons or cardinals I am thinking around 8-10, 3 swords and a black eye bristol nose pleco I am wondering what else I can put in there? To round everything out. I am wanting color I don't really like corys. Can I put some male guppies in there?

You can try one pearl gourami as a center piece they are quite friendly

Ya I have a 36 gallon that is cycling right now and plan to do put a pearl gourami after doing a lot of research.
