40 breeder is a bit beat up

I got a used 40 breeder for 34 bucks and its a bit beat up. Im fairly sure theres no serious damage but there’s a couple scratches and its stain. Can somebody tell me how I should clean it? im still a rookie in the hobby

First make sure it holds water without leaking.
Vinegar should dissolve most minerals on the glass. I like using a wet paper towel and table salt as an abrasive for dried algae and scum. As for scratches, I’m not sure how to deal with those.
