40 gallon livestock question

I'm looking for a good community fish to add some life to my tank. I currently have a green sevrum, two Cory cats, four zebra danios, a rubber mouth pleco, a tiger blood snail, a zebra snail, and a tiger barb(lost 5 to an ick outbreak a month ago)

If I were you I would get rid of the tiger barb and the Sevrem. So you will have more choices like liveberrers or dwarf cichlids maybeangelfish depending on how tall it is.
