60G tank light and filter don't fit

Hi, I recently bought the 60G Marineland tank that was the Black Friday deal. I also bought the recommended 350 penguin HOB filter. The only problem is that my filter won't fit properly because my light button hits it?

Has anyone else had this problem? Solutions to fix?

I have the same setup, the button touches the filter but I don't have a problem using it or pressing the button.

The switch for the button comes in contact with the filter lid.. so the light can't sit all the way down on it's grooves

Yeah just went and looked at mine, I actually have the back of the light up about 1/4 inch, I had forgotten. So yeah, doesn't quite fit with it all the way down, sorry.

I do know an aqueon 75 will fit with room to let the light sit, its what I have in the other opening. May not help but just thought I'd add.

I just bought a powerhead and I do plan on getting another filter at some point to further increase turn over and filtration.

I am not sure if the 55/75 is way more than needed though?

400 gph compared to 350 on the penguin, its what I run (totals 750) along with a 175 gph power head to keep things moving. Overkill? Probably. But it works well.
