I was given a stand and tank for free and am trying to make sure it’s safe to fill. It’s on the stand it comes with but it’s not lvl. We have it close but it’s still near the line on the lvl. Is that good enough or does it need to be perfect. When we started it was completely on the left side.

I agree with rlederer, a 90 gallon tank is approximately 950 pounds of water. That much pressure pushing unevenly against the seams of your tank could have catastrophic results.

I didn’t give enough information. Sorry guys.

The tank isn’t warped and the entire set up can’t be more than 3 months old.

The floor I am trying to set it up on isn’t flat and the stand was a little rickety.

I have placed the shims under the stand and it’s almost lvl. It feels sturdy but I’m worried about adding the water and having the shims slip out or compress.

Ive never had a tank this big as an aquarium and don’t want to screw up even before water is added lol.
