90g Stocking!

Thinking about setting up a 90g sometime... What should I stock it with?

Here are some suggestions:

1. Kole Tang or Tomini Tang
2. 5 Chromis
3. A Firefish
4. a Yellow Watchman Goby

I'm not sure if I'm ready to do a large SW tank... But thanks! I'm looking them up anyway

If it were my tank:

X6 boesmani rainbows
X6 praecox rainbows
X10 kerri tetras
X12 orange laser cories
X2 red apistos
X2 paradisefish
and
X1 philippine blue angel

This is just me of course. All depends on what you want to do with your tank

Actually, in some ways starting with a larger tank can be better becuase the larger the water volume, the more stable you parameters will be.

Oops, I didn't know that this was supposed to be for freshwater. I apologize. I thought I remembered you talking about maybe getting a 90g saltwater so I thought this was it. (I didn't see what category it was in either, oops)

Thanks BruinsBro! I'll check them out too.

And yes RedSea I have heard that also... I'm kinda more concerned about not being able to do the SW part, not really the large tank part.

Even though this may not help I'd do some of these fish (not all together):
Diamond Tetras
Cories of all kinds
Kerri Tetras
Rummy Nose Tetras
Jewel Cichlid
Firemouth Cichlid
GBR
Rainbow Shark
Bristlenose Pleco
Any kind of killifish
Or something like that

+1 with bruinsbro

but maybe larger schools of each fish so make it kind of a rainbowfish takn..............they look amazing when you have separate schools of each

so maybe.................

8X praecox(dwarf neon) rainbowfish
6X boesemani rainbowfish
8X threadfin rainbowfish
8X red irian rainbowfish
6X orange laser cories
8X forktail rainbowfish

OR

maybe traditional like takn?

4-6 Angelfish
16X Schoolers(harlequin rasboras, rummynose tetras, etc.)
2 Tiny Schoolers(green neon tetras, micro fish 1/2" size, etc.)
6-8 Corys
1 Pleco(ABN/BN/Starlight/etc.)
4-6 Loaches
gourami maybe?

good luck!
i'd go with the first one if it were me...........

If it were me, an Oscar. Bit boring to some but that's what I'd do.

I think that might end up being it. Either an oscar or a red devil.

How about 4 -7 discus, 15 neon tetras and 15 rummy nose tetras?

Or a giant flowerhorn male or silver arrowana?

That would be cool...
I was thinking about the flowerhorn.
I wouldn't do an arowana in anything less than maybe a 265... Just my opinion.
