Acclimating Nerite Snails to Freshwater Tank

Newbie here. I just purchases a couple freshwater nerite snails from ebay to add to my freshwater aquarium. They came in a tied plastic bag wrapped in wet paper towels. My tank is heated. What do I do to acclimate them to the tank?

Same way you would any other fish. Float for 15 minutes, then add half a cup of tank water every 15 minutes for about an hour. Then net, and place in the tank. Welcome to AA!

Put the bag in the tank as is for about 15-20 minutes the take them out and add the in. Don't put anything from the shipper in your tank.

Thanks guys... I'm didn't know if the procedure was the same since there was no free liquid (just wet paper towels) in the bag that they came in. Your advice helps ease my worried mind.
