I know I'm going to get slapped!!! But in my 16 gallon with live plants I have:
2 honey gromies
8 cardinal tetras
5 harlequin rasboras
5 black neons
And 3 Juli Cory cats!

I added them right and everything and it's been a week and a half with no water changes at all with all the fish in the tank! Everything is happy and swimming around.. We'll the cardinals and hiding in the back here and there. But I have had no ammonia spikes and I test my water today! A week and a half later and got this.
Ph 7
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
And nitrate 5

My plan is to do 20% water chances weekly. But I have been waiting to see if I can go longer... So far everything in my eyes are doing great! Just wanted another persons thoughts!

Those are unusual test results for a new tank without water changes. I would take a sample to a lfs to double check just to make sure. Then move on from that point.

We'll my tank has been set up for two months now. And before I got the fish I went to a pet store and had them test my tap and aquarium water. Tap had zero everything besides ammonia. .25. And my aquarium water was good to go.
