Hi!
I have a new 46 gallon(bowfront) aquarium(picture below), and I want to put African Cichlids in the tank. I want it to be colorful but also work as a set up, meaning I don't have fish dying all the time. I really want some sort of Peacock Cichlid in there and my original plan after doing some reading was to get a ratio of 1male: 3female. I (will) have 4 different little hiding spots in the tank so each fish has it's own territory. That way there is less fighting, correct? Basically I just want to know if my original plan was good or if I have to modify it for safety reasons.

Thanks!

many to pick from , i think u will need alot more caves . Peakhocks are fine, not as aggressive as others . With your size tank u can fit a good amount, buy them all young is even better . Also buying them at the same time helps.
