We have gotten rid of the brown algae and all of the levels in the tank appear to be in check. Recently the green algae is starting to become more prominent. We have shrimp and snails in the tank so I know I can’t use API algae fix. The light is currently on from 8am- 5pm. Any suggestions on how to help cut down the algae? Picture of the larger rock in tank to show what I’m dealing with.

Appreciate your feedback!

Try cutting back the light hours. The worst thing you can do with a new tank (for algae) is to give it too much light

If you can lower the light intensity or just shorten the time the light is on (say 12-5 for now) it should help keep the green algae from exploding
