I have a newly cycled 29 g tank and currently have just one resident...a juvenile angelfish with 3 nerites. I want to add a school of 6 pristella (x-Ray) tetras. The tetras are currently in the 10g cycled quarantine tank. Do y'all think the pristellas and the Angelfish will be fine together? My LFS says the two species do just fine together, but now I'm starting to worry about them fin nipping my Angel. Any opinions?

Some tetras are known to be fin nippers. I'm not really familiar with yours, but reading on them it shows they are compatible and from the same regions historically. I say give it a shot, i think it will be fine. With cichlids it's always good to have a back up plan anyway

I would add another angel. My experience with them and I have had hundreds, is that they tend to stay together and not bother other fish and other fish don't bother a pair of angels as much as they do a lone one.
