bought snails, first time owner

well as much as the gross me out with there beady little eyes and slimy bodys, I bought two snails today, ones a small apple snail I think and the other is a mystery to me, its shell is spiraled and yellow, black and greyish body, I thought my big snail was dead though, he laid on his side forever at the bottom of the tank half open but finally started moving around a fter a couple hours, any tips or anything I should watch out for please be sure to tell me, I'm not worried about spawning though, I havea clown laoch for that lol

Sounds like your other is a trumpet snail (MTS). Don't add salt to your tank or meds that kill inverts (most parasite meds). Watch the clown loach. Even though your snails are large, he may still make a meal of them.
