Brown algae !

Ok my cichlid tank has been set up now since march 1 , fishless cycled everything is beautiful water crystal clear parameters perfect , still having brown algae issue on everything what's the best way to defeat it ?

You don't defeat it. Diatoms have nothing to do with your tank's parameters.... they feed on free silicates in your system, and once they're consumed, it will go away on it's own. Yes, it's ugly, but almost every new tank, fresh or salt, goes through it......

Ok here's another question tank is clear , fish are perfect for the last two weeks I'm about 4 nitrates my tank is well stocked , is the brown algae keeping the nitrates in check ?
 
Yes that's what I figured :) suddenly it's not so unsightly lol
