bubbler placement ok?

I have those small glass stones instead of gravel in my 3 gal half moon tank, about 2 inches deep. I have a round bubbler/rainbow LEDs. Can I put the bubbler all the way at the bottom bottom of my tank, under the glass stones? Will that damage the bubbler? I'm betting since the glass stones are light colors, the light will shine through just fine. I obviously am new... Any insight is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Should be fine. Just don't place the air stone near the filter intake or you'll risk getting air inside the filter.

Here's a starting guide if you haven't seen it yet:
