:blink:Some of my mollies have been 'nipping' at my Mystery snails shell. I'm wondering are they just curious or are they hungry? i gave them some flakes and that seemed to take their interest away from the snail. i only usually feed once a day i'm wondering if because they are so active during the day if they are seeking a second feeding.

Mollies are omnivores which means they need plant matter in their diet. Often they will nip at decorations or other things that have a small amount of algae growing on them, it is possible that this is what they're doing to your snail. They will do this even if they are well fed, so I wouldn't worry about it. They won't hurt your snail :)

The problem is if the molly's continually harass the snails the snails may not come out and eat. Also you'll have to watch if the snails do come out that the molly's don't nip at their antenna.
