Cat fish

Hey guys starting a new 10 gallon aquariam wondering what are the best catfish at least two types and at least four fish is what I want

No cats are really suited for a 10g. I'd look into shrimp and snails instead

Tiny Cories can handle a 10g but they are more sensitive and need live plants. Cory habrosus, C hastatus, and C pygmaeus all stay under an inch. But they need friends. I kept a group of 5 C habrosus in my 10g.


Celestial Pearl Danios stay small or there are tiny nano Rasboras. Nano fish are shy, but I love mine.

I had 7 CPDs in my 10g with my Cories. But my tank was heavily planted and PWCs every week.


Or have 1 Betta male

Or have Shrimp

Not much fits in a 10g.

But they'd certainly have more fun with a bigger group. If I had a big tank Id have at least 12 Cories. Probably C sterbais

Of course they are Catfish.
Pygmies are true Cories and Otos are sucker mouth Cats.
