Changing substraight any last advice?

Im I've been thinking of changing my 280L tank from gravel to sand. I know the basic idea but is there any last advice?

Rinse the new stuff very well to minimize cloudiness. If you can move any fish to a temporary tank it will make it easier on you and the fish. Keep your filter media wet.
