I have an established 60 gallon tank that we just transferred the fish into a 90 gallon.
What is the best way to start up a clown loach tank, how many clowns could we put in there???

Should we add a couple other fish with them? (since they mimic others)

Who knitted clown loaches out there

I think.its best to keep at least 4 in a group and they get huge so im not entirely sure if a 90 gallon will be big enough but im sure someone who knowa more about them will chime in soon

We had 7 loaches we loved them the clicking is amazing. We had 4 small and 3xl. The small were 2"long and the xl were 4"long they are super entertaining

How long is the tank? Ideally it's at least 4 ft, then as they grow they'll need a larger (8-10' tank). This link might help some: Clown Loach (Chromobotia macracanthus) — Loaches Online They are cute, fun fish but need a huge tank which isn't do-able for most of us (sigh).

If they're really small when you get them you might be able to start with 3-5 in that tank but as they grow you'll need to upgrade. Not sure if even a 60 gal would be enough for small ones, maybe someone else can confirm that.
