I have this little contraption I made with a 20 oz bottle with sugar and yeast. I have a tube going from this plastic bottle into my aquarium. It is bubbling about one drop per second. I was supposed to use a 2l bottle but didn't have one. Will this give my plants any co2?

How big is your tank?

I found the V8 Fusion/Splash bottle work well thanks to the large opening compared to 2 liter bottles. Plus they are less prone to tip over.

I used the 20oz as a bubble counter/place for yeast/sugar mix to go besides aquarium if problem arose...

I used 2 V8 bottles at a time(total of 2.8L) in the 55gal.

It definitely made my plants perk up. It also helped to keep algae in check.

I have since switched over to compressed co2.
