cycling my 10 gal

need some advice. doing a fishless cycle. im in week 5 and my parameters are ammo- 0/ nitrites-3/nitrates-5/ph-7.0. not dosing with ammonia anymore. how close am i to a cycle?

Have you had a Nitrite spike yet? You still need to be dosing with ammonia. Otherwise the bacteria has nothing to feed off of. Dose with about half of what you were dosing with. Once the Nitrites stop rising and peak, then you are almost done.

Fishy is quite right, keeping dosing half the ammonia you are close to done. A week or two. Your nitrites are starting to rise and you are showing nitrates. Just keep going.
