Hello,

I got a 10 gallon quarantine tank and I'm trying to cycle that right now. I set everything up and it's been running for about a week now. A lot of the readings say to put fish in it? I'm just not sure what I do now. Do I just let it sit there? I added the API Quick start and stress coat.

What is my next step? Help, please :)

Whenever I start a new tank, I usually include a piece of filter media from a well-established tank for a few days to add beneficial bacteria. It really cuts down cycling time. I believe Quick start has bacteria in it, though I could be mistaken.
Are you getting your reading from test strips, or from individual test kits? The strips aren't always accurate; sometimes far from it.

I'm using the API master test kit. It's the thingy with the bottles and test 5 ml of water
