So I have a piece of driftwood that my grandma got me and it WILL fit in my ten gallon, but I want to sink and I don't know what to do to make it weighted down.... Should I like tie some rock to it?
Advice wanted!!!

Where did she get the wood? What's it called? you need to cure all driftwood before putting it into your aquarium.

Sam is right in that it needs to be cured and identified and stuff, but assuming it is aquarium safe then you just put it in a bucket with a stone tied to it so it will sink (I'm assuming it floats), and then every few days just untie the stone to see if it will sink, and if it does then you can put it in your tank. If you want, you can just put a stone on top of it and put it in your tank.
