My tank has been cycling for almost 6 weeks with two giant danios. I added two corys last week. When i tested my water last weekend it had high levels. I have done 2 50% water changes this week which are the first two the tank has ever had.

How long will it take for the levels of the water to lower with my situation.

Six weeks is a bit long....have the levels reduced at all? Fish-in cycles can take a while, but for the fish's sake you really should do more frequent water changes. When ammonia or nitrite hit 0.25 or higher, do a water change to get them as close to 0 as possible; same with nitrate over 20 (40 at most).

There's a link in my signature (new tank with fish), it'll help.

If you could post exact nitrate, nitrite, ammonia levels that would help. What is the PH of the tank water? Very low PH's can stall/hinder the cycle. What test kit are you using (strips or liquid)?
