Fish for 20 gallon aquarium.

Hi, I'm new here, but not super new to fish. I know about cycling and cleaning the tank. I have one Blue Gourami, and 2 platys, and I am pretty sure after researching that I have one boy and one girl. (I looked at the fins under their belly close to their tail fins) if thats how you tell? One has a rounded fin, and the other has a more pointed/straight fin. Anyways they are in a 20 gallon aquarium, and I didn't know if I could put more platys, and other fish in there, and if so how many more and what kind? I heard Gouramis are aggressive and that is why I only have one.

I think you can add 4 platies. Some honey Gouramis are peaceful so a school can work.
