Fishless cycle-Ammo and NitrIte

I am doing a fishless cycle in a 29 gal tank- I got my Ammonia up to around 4ppm and just today the nitrIte has shown up (currently at 1ppm). Since the ammo is still up should I add more?? or just let it drop lower and then add? Thanks!

Wait for your ammonia to drop further before redosing. Your best bet is to wait for it to drop down to .50 or less before redosing to 4ppm.
