Are you do frequent water changes and how are all your water levels

Can you provide us with your water parameters? Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate and pH? Have you gone through the cycle? Are you using liquid tests or test strips? What kind of fish do you have and what filters are you using as far as brand? What is your substrate?

We need more details about your tank so that we can better help you.

2 w/c everyday once in the morning 7am then again at 6 pm
first change 20gal tank - 7.5 gals
second change 20gal tank 10 gals
changed over to prime
I think it was from over feeding because my filter cart. were really dirty
I just had an explosion of baby guppies 20 25 of them

I have 4 fake plants that the frogs hang on
I have 2 aqueon 20/40 filters they have 1 filter cart and 1 bio filter
the 20 gal long tank has about 15 gals in the tank.

What are your ammonia and nitrite levels? Does the water have a green.tint? How long has the tank been set up? Are you using carbon or purigen?

Take some of the water in a glass and let it sit out for a few hours. Does the water clear up?

I DONT know what else I can do

Well, ammonia and nitrite are the prime suspects in cloudy water. Once they go away the cloudiness usually does as well.

Rabena,

Can you tell us if you fully cycled the tank? If not, I would give this article a read:
I just learned about cycling but I already have fish. What now?!

If you don't have any testing supplies, I would venture to say that the tank did not go through the Nitrogen cycle and the cloudiness you're seeing is due to a bacteria bloom from Ammonia and Nitrites.

I would recommend picking up the API Freshwater Master Test Kit as soon as possible and testing your water.

For the time being, you will need to complete daily 50% water changes to keep your fish safe.

OK so when I get this test kit then what ??
I been doing 2 w/c a day

Well, you can test both your tank water and tap water to see if there is a positive reading for ammonia or nitrite. If there is then that's your answer. If there isn't then we can explore other possibilities.

Did you pull the water out in a glass and check to see if it clears up?

If that is your tank in your profile picture, then you are way overstocked. I can't tell what kind of fish those are, but they are too big for a 20 gallon.

Once you get the test kit, you need to test your tank water and your tap water. My guess is that you have Ammonia and Nitrite readings.

We really can't tell you how to proceed until we know what your water parameters are.

no that tank is 40gal breeder tank thats where the problem started. I took frogs and the Corey's out and set up a 20l for them same problems in that one too.
okay I'll have too see what I can do about a test kit

If you can make it to a lfs you can have them test it for you.

Take a sample of tank water and fresh tap water

took a cup of water out of tank cloudy as hell
tap water from sink clear as a hell

Okay, well let the cloudy as hell water sit for an hour to see if it clears up. Micro bubbles can make a tank appear really cloudy.

okay so maybe the tap water is high in something (MIAMI FLA.) they DONT have the best water here
I went they have strips but I never took house water I'll do that tonight

should I get some clarifier while I'm there or save up for test kit

I think this is the third thread in this subject.

In the previous two we confirmed that this was possibly a never ending bacteria bloom due to the OP throwing out dirty filter and/or rinsing them under the tap.

To original poster. Are you still doing this? Are you cleaning ornaments, filter cartridges in tap water? Are you still throwing out cartridges and replacing them with new?

no I haven't touch the filters and I DONT put nothing in tap water
its been awhile now with the same water
