Getting back into it

hey yall. Had a 29g running a couple years ago and then got out of it when I moved. Setting up a 5g planted again. Want to have a couple fish, something to go with a beta. Any suggestions? just put in some plant substrate and some small plants. got the heater and filter set-up. Gonna try and get it cycled, unlike last time I started the hard way. I like guppies, but worry about the beta eating the male guppies. Would like suggestions on stocking a 5g. Thanks!!

5g is pretty limited. The betta is perfect id stay there. Good to have another Florida representative
