I am planning on starting a 20 gallon fish tank in early january. I want to have:
- 5 pygmy corys
- 7 orange von rio flame tetras
- 7 glowlight tetras
- 1 dwarf gourami OR honey dwarf gourami (can't decide which one :))

Now, I am sure that you are thinking, "thats WAY too many fish!". That is what I thought too! However, according to this website, aqadvice.com , This is 80% of my tank capacity (I don't know how!). So, my first question is, is this too much?

Also, for my 20 gallon tank, would a cascade power filter 150 be strong enough?

Would there be lots of bad air particles in it or something if I don't have a lid on it (what I mean is, is it bad to not have a lid)? And if it is, where can I buy a lid, without buying a whole tank?

Also, what heater should I use for the 20 gallon? ( I have a heater for my old ten gallon that I don't use anymore, but I don't think that will be powerful enough!)

Thanks, I am probably quite annoying with my constant questions, but if it is any form of consolation, I have gotten great help so far!
