There some debate on higher temps helping. I have no education on the matter. At 29g a pair of angels would be ok. Not much room for much else imo.

IMG_1380.jpgIt wasn't cycled ( Ammonia was at 0, Nitrite at 0.25 & Nitrate at 5. I never did get an ammonia or Nitrite spike. Not sure if it was because of the plants or because I added media from my cycled 10 gallon. It didn't immediately cycle but perhaps it did help because it's only been 2 days since I added it.

My plants however seem to be melting. I've only been adding Excel every other day & not overdosing.

My plan is to add a school of diamond tetas & then 2 small angels. I checked in aquadvisor & I think I'm good since I have an AC70 as my filter. I also want to add java ferns.

Im sure it was media not plants. Id just keep checking for a bit. Thats standard procedure for new tank IMO. The plants do look to be melting. Once your positive leaf won't recover trim off.

Could I add more fish on Saturday if Ammonia & Nitrite stay at 0.

We added 3 Diamond Tetras today. I plan to add 2 more. LFS said to only leave my lights on every other day for 8 hours & feed my fish every other day. Do you agree with this?
