Hi all, this is my first post and my first tank. I'm a newbie but have been doing reading and research on the nitrogen cycle, compatible fish, etc. I'm hoping the group here can work out the max number of fish I can have in my tank.
My setup is:
  • 50 Gallon / 200L tank
  • Freshwater, heated ~75f / 24C
  • 2 Months old, cycled
  • Driftwood, plants (Elodea, Giant Ambulia, Java Fern, some others, etc.)

I currently have:
  • 1 Bristlenose Pleco
  • 16 Neon Tetras
  • 7 Harlequin Rasboras

I would like to add:
  • 6 Sterbai Corydoras
  • 10 or more Red Cherry Shrimp
  • 4-6 male guppies
  • More Harlequin Rasboras?

Is this too much, have I chosen decent tankmates?
Do I have still have room for more?

You are currently lightly stocked.

Assuming you have a suitably sized filter you could easily add those fish/shrimp to your tank including another 7 or so harlequin rasboras.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll be slowly adding the extra fish/shrimp over the next month or so:)
