How long?

Just set up another 10 gallon tank! I used an existing sponge that was in a cycled tank in the new 10 gallon filter. How long should it take for it to be cycled?

It depends, different tanks are different, I did that plus added tetra safe start, and my 29 gallon was cycled in 8 days, 2 weeks, because I wanted 6 days to make sure that the water was ok
