Dear Friends,

I know that feeding peas--parboiled without outer skin and cut up--is supposed to be good for goldfish. The question is how many and how often to supplement their diet. 1 pea per 3-4 inch goldfish?

Thanks
Chris

I've read where feeding tropical fish peas is good to help a constipated fish release it's waste. I've never heard of it as a regular addition to a fish's diet. I'm assuming that the same applies to goldfish.

I feed my fish the peas once a week as a preventative. I usually boil around 6 peas and then mush them up, feeding about the same amount as normal food.
