How many red cherry shrimp could I put in this:

Hagen Zen Marina Betta Kit at PETCO

I've been thinking about making a cherry shrimp tank, but I wanted something small that requires very little patience and has some style to it. I think this'll suite them well.

So how many can I put in there? Is it possible to put in other shrimp than the cherry's?

I would not put anything in that tank personally just because I think the minimum tank for cherry shrimp is at least a gallon.

0. RCS need a filter and a heater, and at least a gallon.

RCS do not need a heater. Unless your house temps are literally freezing. Once the temps drop below 65 breeding pretty much stops, but otherwise, they actually do better at lower temps IME. I keep mine, and other similar shrimp, from 68-75.

A filter is not absolutely necessary, but since shrimp are sensitive to toxins like ammo and nitrite, and like well oxygenated water, it is a good idea.

I would recommend 1 gal minimum for RCS.
