Aquarium Advice Freak
i bought a 54g bow front corner tank and i have figured out how to get the filter part going but everyone ive asked in my local fish stores have no clue but reading online i got some clues. it is a trickle type filter with a pump in the sump side to feed water into the tank. i have a round sponge filter in the back where the water gravity feed into the trickle where i have a carbon mat which then trickles over pot scrubbies since i read they would work then the pump takes it from there. i am having a bacteria bloom right now in my tank but am taking care of it with water changes every other day. my fish are fine and all my levels except ammonia are a little high which seems like its going into a cycle. my fish are all fine i just wanted some expert help if my tank filer is ok.
