Ideas for my 29g

I think I am going to go in a new direction. I was planning on tigar barbs and convicts then it was tigar barbs and a firemouth. Now I am scrapping an aggressive tank altogether. I like cichlids and was thinking of going with some peaceful central americans.

So I need some stocking ideas, it can be any cichlids as long as they are peaceful.

Rams maybe (I don't think they're aggressive, but I've never kept them), with some tetras?

Ok so I did alittle research and well, there arent too many peaceful CA cichlids...

So I guess any colorful, peaceful cichlid suggestions would be more suited.

What about bolivian rams: Bolivian rams

or for a bit of a challenge, German Blue Rams: German blue rams

I do like the coloration of them both. If I do get a ram it will probably be the Bolivian due to my water. I have a ph of 7.8 and slightly hard.

Ahh, well a high pH is better than an unstable pH. Also, why not add some dw. I'm sure the rams would like it and it lowers the pH a little.
