I have two platys in a coldwater tank at the mo, I was told they were temperate fish by the Petshop . But discovered from the Aquatic design centre that they should really be in a heated tank. I have a free fishtank coming with a heater, I need advice cause its not as big as I thought it was, it 50cm long, 25cm wide and 31cm high. Will this be enough room for two platys. Also what is the ideal temperate for them?
I live in a flat already have 22.4 gallon community tank and a 45gallon goldie tank. I ideally wanted to rehome the two platys in something bigger, but do you think this Tank is big enough. If anyone knows please get in touch. Ive only ever had coldwater tanks. This will be my first Heated tank. If the Tank im getting for free is big enough for the two platys for now I will use it.
