Is 1 Bristlenose Pleco, 2 Cory Catfish, 4 Mollies, 1 Racer Nerite Snail, and 3-4 Ghost Shrimp too much for a 20 gal tank?:fish2:

Hi. Corys really like to be in bigger groups, five plus, and a Bristle nose is a bit big and a heavy spoiler for a 20 gallon. I would drop the BN and increase the Corys. I can see the attraction of having both, I have a BN and about 12 Corys in my 55 gallon. The more Corys I add, the happier they are. I inherited the BN and would have gone for a small species fancy Plec but I can't get rid of the BN now that I have him.

I prefer 30g for Mollies as they are so active. But I had Sailfins. The BN has a large bioload as was mentioned.

I like groups of social fish.
What species of Corydoras do you have ???

The Nerite may need to be fed. My first one starved when it ran out of soft Algae. The Ghost Shrimp are fine.

Add some live plants. Try Java Ferns. Easy to grow.
