So this has been on my mind for awhile... I'm starting a tank over and want to do a planted tank and I'm wondering... Do I need to cycle my tank before I plant it?

Not a stupid question, I've actually seen this asked many times. 
You do not need to cycle your tank to add plants. You can add plants whenever you want.
