LED light bar???

I am on ebay and I noticed a "blue light" LED submersible light bar. Also avail in white. What is this for? Does it make a nice backgroung light or what?

LEDs are often used to do moon lighting in tanks. Submersing them wouldn't make much sense for a natural look, but it might be fun to look at in a tank.

Look at the do it yourself projects forum. There is actually a forum post about making moon lighting. I'm not sure if it involved LEDs, but it's worth a look there. I think colors are covered there.
