I have a Marineland LED strip, 11x4 inch sitting directly on top of a glass hood on a 20 gallon high. Will any plants live with this set up? (I don't know anything about light spectrums, etc.)

Would love to have a couple live plants....
Thanks!

It would help to know the name and model of the light. But if it isn't made for plants than there is a very low chance that you'll get anything but low light out of it.

Like Fishperson said, which one is it? Marineland makes several different LED light fixtures

You would be severely limited in what plants you could keep. Anubias, crpyts, and ferns might be able to grow in that low of light, but you will likely find yourself wanting more very soon, if not immediately.
